The Wiikey2 modchip is one of the most popular Wii modchips available.
With advanced features and protection against bricking, it is the choice of installers and end users alike.
With a little practice, it is relatively easy to install one of these yourself,
but if you have never picked up a soldering iron, you should find an installer to do this for you.
If you are still here, you have probably decided to go ahead and install your wiikey2 modchip yourself.
The Wiikey 2 modchip install diagram shown below shows all the necessary points for installing your wiikey 2.
For DMS, D2A and D2B (including cut pin D2B) solder only the points shown in RED.
For D2C, D2C2 and D2E you will also need to solder the point shown in BLUE.
If you have a D2E with eject issues, you may be able to fix this by using one
of the alternate ground points ( in GREEN) or using both the normal ground point and an alternate point.
The best positions for placing the Wiikey 2 modchip are also shown in the Diagram.
