The PSP is a powerful handheld console.
It is built tough, but can still be damaged.

PSP Modchip Installs

Although there have been PSP Modchips in the past, performing a softmod is simpler and gives the same features.
The softmod is also known as a firmware flash or downgrade.


PSP Firmware Upgrade: $50

We can perform a firmware upgrade on 100x and 200x model Sony PSP consoles. It is possible to do the 300x series, but the hack is not permanent. It will disappear if the console is powered off completely or if the battery is completely drained.
The upgrade price does not include a Sony MS Duo Pro memory card.



PSP Screen Replacement: $90 – $130

If your PSP screen is cracked or not showing a picture, we can replace it for you.
We use brand new replacement parts. The cost depends on the model of PSP.




PSP UMD Replacement: $120

If your PSP isn’t reading UMD discs anymore, you may need the laser or umd unit replaced.
Replacing the UMD is time consuming, so don’t expect to wait while it is repaired.

Nintendo’s handheld consoles are some of the most popular consoles in the world.
They are easy to modify, but also subject to wear and tear because they aren’t kept safe below your tv.

We perform repairs on all Handheld consoles including, DS, DS Lite, DSi and DSi XL


DS, DS lite, DSi, DSi XL Modchip Installs

There is actually no need to install a modchip in the DS, DS Lite, DSi or DSi XL.
Instead we use what is called a ‘Flash Cartridge’. 
This is a cartridge that is the same size as an original game cartridge, but contains a Micro SD card slot.
You put backup roms of your original games onto the Micro SD card and insert the Micro SD into the flash cartridge.
Depending on the size of the Micro SD being used, you can fit hundreds of games, movies and mp3s into one cartridge.
The benefit of this is obvious.
You no longer need to carry all of your game cartridges with you. You can also download hundreds of free homebrew games.


DS, DS lite, DSi and DSi XL Flash Cartridges

There are a number of different types of flash cartridges available.
Some work with all DS versions, some work in only the older DS and DS lite.

DSTT: $33

The manufacturer of the DSTT is a company that is known for making reliable flash cartridges.
One of the best and cheapest of the older flash cartridges. 
It works on all DS, DS lite consoles, but won’t work on DSi.

R4 Original + 2gb Micro SD: $33.95

This is the most famous of the flash cartridges.
The original R4 is high quality and reliable.
It works on all DS, DS lite consoles, but won’t work on DSi.
It is also limited to a maximum 2gb micro sd. 
Buy the Original R4 Online or drop into the Warehouse.

M3i Zero: $55.00

The M3i Zero is the highest quality flash cartridge and has the most features.
It works on all DS, DS lite, DSi and works on DSi XL consoles, just tested on DSi XL (3rd May 2010) .
It is upgradeable via usb, so it can be updated without using the DSi console.

DS, DSlite and DSi consoles are easily damaged if dropped or stood on.
Luckily almost every console can be fixed.

If you have tried to install a modchip yourself and failed, we can help.
We can repair burnt points and lifted traces, usually for around the same price as a modchip install.

Gamecube Laser Repairs: $66.00

If your Gamecube is no longer reading games it may need a laser replacement.
We supply and install Gamecube lasers, but check for availability first.

Xbox Modchip Installs

The Xbox console is the most versatile console once it has been modchipped, even though it is not the newest. 
With a modchipped Xbox you can do the following:

  • Play backup games.
  • Use the Xbox as a Media Center PC for playing music, movies, browsing the web and streaming online content.
  • Backup your games onto the Xbox and play them without inserting the disc (requires larger hard drive upgrade)
  • Play free homebrew games.
  • Play emulator games. These are retro console and arcade games (Atari, NES, Sega, N64 etc).
  • Play online without using xbox live.
  • Watch movies without needing to buy the xbox dvd remote.
  • Change the look and feel of the xbox menus. Choose from a range of themes and download more for free.
  • Play mp3, avi, divx and most other music and movie formats.
  • Connect your xbox and pc to transfer data and downloads.

DuoX3 or Aladdin XT Modchip and software package install: $60.00

The software package includes all the programs required to use all the features listed above. 
You may also want to upgrade the Xbox hard drive at the same time.


Xbox Hard Drive Installs

With a hard drive installed in your xbox, you can save games and movies directly to your console, so you never have to use the disc again. 
This saves wear and tear on the dvd drive itself, plus it keeps your games and movies safe from damage and scratches.
Note that you need a modchip installed to install a larger hard drive.

80gb hdd install: $Call for price and availability

The 80gb hard drive will store approximately 20-30 games or movies.

160gb hdd install: add $100.00

The 160gb hard drive will store approximately 40-60 games or movies.

320gb hdd install: add $130.00

The 250gb hard drive will store approximately 90-110 games or movies.

The 500gb hard drive will store approximately 140-180 games or movies.


Xbox Dashboard Installs

The Xbox Dashboard is the menu that you see when you turn on your Xbox. 
When we put a modchip in your Xbox or upgrade to a larger hard drive we also install an alternative Dashboard. 
This is called Unleash-X. There is no extra charge for this. It is included in the install price.


Xbox DVD Drive Replacement $80.00

The most common problem with the xbox console is a faulty laser or dvd drive. 
If you are getting dirty disc errors, your games are taking a long time to load 
or your dvd drive won’t open, we can replace your current dvd drive for a new one.

Xbox 360 Installs

Xbox 360 Modchip Installs

Although there are modchips for the xbox 360, they aren’t true modchips.
They operate the same way as dvd drive firmware upgrade, but with the added need to solder a chip into the Xbox360.
Because it is basically pointless and doesn’t offer any extra features we don’t install modchips in the Xbox 360. 
Instead we do a firmware flash upgrade.



Xbox 360 DVD Drive Flash Upgrade $70.00

( Liteon 8xxxx and 9xxxx drives: $90.00 )

This is our preferred method of modding the Xbox 360. 
The programming code on the Xbox 360 DVD Drive is upgraded with hacked code. 
This allows you to play backup copies of your original games.
The hacked code is stealthed so that you can play your backups online without being banned.
The upgrade will NOT allow you to cheat!
Although current upgrades cannot be detected online, there are no guarantees that they will remain undetectable in the future.

Xbox 360 Laser Replacement $70.00

The Xbox 360 is prone to a number of faults.
One of these is a weak or faulty laser.
If your Xbox 360 isn’t reading games or movies then you may need a laser replacement.
Alternatively, you may need a whole replacement drive.

Xbox 360 DVD Drive Replacement $100.00

If your DVD Drive is making strange noises or the tray won’t open, then you may need a drive replacement.
When we replace the drive, we also need to do a Flash Upgrade.
This is because the Xbox 360 motherboard and dvd drive are matched together so the new drive needs to be hacked to work in the console.

RROD Red Ring of Death Fix $100.00(incl GST)

The most common problem with the Xbox 360 is the Read Ring of Death.
This is when 3 red lights on the front of the console are flashing and either nothing appears on the screen or you see an error code.
The 3 red lights actually just mean there is a problem with the motherboard.
We need to diagnose the exact cause of the error before we can perform the appropriate repair.
These repairs are time consuming and are priced accordingly.

Wii Modchip Installs

With a Wii Modchip installed, you can play backup and import games.
You also have the option of having homebrew and a hard drive installed, turning your Wii into a multimedia machine.

There are a number of options available.


Wii Modchip Installation: $110

For Supply and installation of Wasabi DX, Drivekey or Wiikey2 modchips.

This will give you the ability to play backup copies of your original games.

If you add the option of homebrew software you also have the ability to play homebrew games and download a huge range of homebrew applications.

You can also plug in a hard drive and play games and movies from this, including divx, xvid, avi etc.

If you mainly want the hard drive option, we recommend taking a look at the benefits of the WODE Jukebox below.

Wii Modchip Installs

Wode Modchip Installation: $220

For Supply and installation of Wode Jukebox Wii Modchip.

The WODE Jukebox is the newest modchip for the Wii.

It comes in two parts. One is the modchip itself and the other is a base that the Wii sits on.

The base includes SD and USB ports for plugging in external hardware.

It features an lcd display or alternatively you can operate the Wode from your Wii Menu.

The major benefit of the WODE is that it is not susceptible to Wii System Updates.

This means you wont lose access to your hard drive just because you have performed a Wii System Update.

WODE Jukebox Modchip Installation


Wii Homebrew Installation: $44

(with SD Card $55)

Required to run a hard drive on a Wii with a standard modchip.

Not required for WODE.

Having homebrew software installed on your Wii will allow you to use the homebrew channel.
This gives you access to free homebrew games and applications.
It allows you to watch movies on your Wii and is required to install a hard drive.


Wii Hard Drive Installs

Wii 320gb Hard Drive Installation: $150

With a hard drive installed on your Wii, you can run your game directly from the hard drive
Just insert the game into the Wii and use our program to copy it to the hard drive.
After that, you can put the game disc away and play it from the hard drive.
The 320gb hard drive will fit anywhere between 150 – 240 games depending on the size of the games.

Wii 500gb Hard Drive Installation: $200

With a hard drive installed on your Wii, you can run your game directly from the hard drive
Just insert the game into the Wii and use our program to copy it to the hard drive.
After that, you can put the game disc away and play it from the hard drive.
The 500gb hard drive will fit anywhere between 250 – 350 games depending on the size of the games.

Wii 1000gb ( 1 TB ) Hard Drive Installation: $260

With a hard drive installed on your Wii, you can run your game directly from the hard drive
Just insert the game into the Wii and use our program to copy it to the hard drive.
After that, you can put the game disc away and play it from the hard drive.
The 1000gb hard drive will fit anywhere between 500 – 700 games depending on the size of the games.

Wii Hard Drive Installation


Wii Softmod Installation: $55

(with SD Card $66)

A Softmod does the same thing as installing a Wii modchip.
Generally we recommend a modchip over a softmod because a softmod can be undone by game updates, but we offer it for those who want a cheaper option.
The softmod includes the homebrew software install.


Wii Repairs

Wii Laser Replacement: $88

If your Wii has stopped reading games or is getting an ‘unable to read disc error, it may need a laser replacement.

Generally, replacing the whole drive is a better option, since other parts of the Wii drive may be worn out.

Wii Drive Replacement: $154



If your Wii drive is making strange noises or is telling you an error occured when you insert a game, you will need a new Wii Drive.

We use brand new original Wii dvd drives.

Tips on avoiding a dvd drive replacement:

Young children love the sound a Wii drive makes while it is crunching on cardboard, jewelry, random pieces of plastic or your entire dvd collection at once.

Keep your Wii out of reach of children.

The installs listed above include all of the costs involved in having your console modded.
There are no hidden charges. 
All consoles are tested before any work is performed. 
If we find a problem with the console, we will not proceed with the upgrade until we can confirm that you are already aware of the problem.

Game Console Repairs

We offer repairs on all Game Consoles available. 
For all repairs, we will either quote you a price up front or diagnose the problem and then quote you a price. 
You will not pay anything until you have accepted the quote and we won’t proceed with any repairs that aren’t authorised by you.

Whenever it is possible, we try to replace parts rather than repair them. 
This cuts down on labor cost to you and ensures a longer life span on the repair. 
We can repair just about any problem, but you should check to make sure that your manufacturers warranty has expired before bringing your console to us.

All modchip installs come with a 3 year warranty. (The lifetime warranties offered by many businesses actually refer to the expected lifetime of the product. The expected lifetime of a game console sytem is generally 3 years but can also be interpreted as ‘until it breaks’.) 
Prices on Wii modchip installs vary depending on version and the modchip installed. 
You can work out which version you have based on the wii serial number in most cases.
